This Week in HLSL

I’ve put up a project board to try to partially automate tracking the state of potentially HLSL-related PRs.

Nearly 60 PRs were merged this week:

Structure of This Week in HLSL

A few suggestions were made on the structure of the “This Week in HLSL” segment. We want a fairly curated list and the summary content is appreciated, but the PRs just being a long list of links isn’t ideal. Can we take some inspiration from LLVM weekly on how to organize this better, or maybe present the summaries with a follow up section that lists all of the changes?

Open PRs

Quite a few of the PRs on the project board have been open for a very long time. We discussed whether we should try to use time in this meeting to push PRs that are stuck forward. While this is definitely a good idea, we think we need to have folks in the meeting bringing forward particular PRs to champion (whether they are the author or otherwise) in order to make this productive.
